Pricing is explained before work begins whenever possible.

Hourly Services

Hourly services are billed for the first hour, then in 30-minute increments after the first hour.

Diagnostic Credit

The $30 diagnostic fee includes the time required to identify the problem. If you proceed with a recommended repair involving $40 or more in repair labour, $15 of the diagnostic fee is credited toward that labour.

Parts & Materials

Parts, replacement components and other materials are separate from labour unless specifically included in the quoted price.

Approval Before Repair

If a diagnostic reveals additional work, the recommended repair and expected costs can be discussed before proceeding.

GOOD TO KNOW

Repair services focus on replaceable hardware, software and setup.

Gadget Service Guy handles computer hardware replacement, upgrades, diagnostics, software troubleshooting and device setup.

Board-level electronic repairs and component soldering are not offered.
